How often is content updated?
It depends on how quickly the underlying facts move. Incentives and charging-network pricing are reviewed monthly; buying guides every few months; evergreen explainers annually. Every page shows its last review date.
Why does a page say "not published" instead of a number?
Because we could not source that figure reliably. We would rather show a gap than a guess — a wrong number is worse than an absent one.
Are the calculator results accurate?
They are estimates, and each calculator says so along with its assumptions. The arithmetic is correct and tested; whether it matches your bill depends on how well your inputs match reality.
Why do some figures differ between UK and US?
Because they genuinely differ. Currency, connectors, terminology, incentive schemes and networks are all market-specific. Use the UK/US switch in the header.
Do you test the products you recommend?
Where we have not physically tested something, we do not imply that we have. Our recommendations are based on published specifications, primary sources and comparative analysis, and we say what that is based on.
