Privacy policy
What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

ElectraMile is operated by Unique Evolution Limited ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we do with personal data.
The short version
- We do not require an account to read anything.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We collect the minimum needed to run the site, understand what is read, and send a newsletter you asked for.
- Non-essential tracking is not loaded until you consent to it.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Newsletter subscription — your email address, plus the date, time and page you subscribed from, which we keep as a record of consent.
- Contact and correction forms — your message, and your email address if you provide one. You can report a correction without giving an email address.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs — IP address, browser user agent, requested page and timestamp. Used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults.
- Analytics — pages viewed, referring site, approximate region, device category. Configured to avoid identifying individuals.
Information we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, date of birth, or payment details. There is nothing to buy here.
Why we are allowed to use it
Under UK GDPR we rely on:
- Consent — for the newsletter, and for non-essential cookies and similar technologies.
- Legitimate interests — for security, fraud and abuse prevention, and understanding aggregate site usage. We have considered your rights and believe these uses are ones you would reasonably expect.
- Legal obligation — where we must keep records.

Who we share it with
We use third-party providers for hosting, email delivery, analytics and advertising. They act on our instructions and may only process data for the purposes we set.
Advertising partners may process data for ad delivery and measurement where you have consented. You can withdraw consent at any time.
We will disclose data if legally required. We will not sell it.
Transfers outside the UK
Some providers operate outside the UK. Where data is transferred, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or EEA, you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of your data
- Correct it if it is wrong
- Delete it
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Provide it in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
If you are in California or another US state with equivalent legislation, you have comparable rights, including the right to know what is collected and to request deletion. We do not sell personal information as those laws define it.

If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to systems holding personal data is restricted and authenticated. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and keep dependencies patched.
Changes
Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised date. Where a change requires it, we will ask for fresh consent.
